What is the current state / roadmap of the JavaScript Certification program?

We are releasing the Certification Program progressively, with three levels: Junior, Mid-level, and Senior JavaScript Developer. The examination question sets and code challenges are developed in collaboration with a global team of JavaScript experts. We will only release the examinations when all parties are satisfied with the standard of the exam and after a thorough review and testing process.

Here is the current release schedule: Any customers who order now will have early access to the Preparation Guides for each level, which will give you an overview of what will be tested in the related exam. All customers will also have access to the Certification Discord server, so you can interact with other developers preparing for the exam, along with the Certification team.

If you order either the Exam & Preparation bundle or the Exam, Preparation & Bootcamp bundle, you will also enjoy early access to the Self-Study training and begin preparing for the exams with code challenges and quizzes.

The JavaScript Developer Certification Exams for Junior and Mid-level will launch in Q3 2024 after the review and sign-off process. In this period, we will also introduce the Online Bootcamp live workshops related to the Mid-level exam (there are no bootcamps for the junior developer exam).

In Q1 2025, we aim to start releasing the Senior JavaScript Developer Certification products, including the related Preparation Guide with the full curriculum, the self-training preparation material, and the Bootcamp live workshops. The Senior JavaScript Developer examination will also only be made available once the same rigorous testing and review process has been completed.
